Ekoenergetyka, a leading European producer of high-power electric vehicle infrastructure, has successfully deployed 150 EV chargers to the Powerdot network. This significant move is part of Ekoenergetyka’s ongoing expansion strategy into the charge point operator (CPO) market across Europe.
Powerdot, operating under the Destination Charging business model, forms partnerships with various businesses, including supermarkets, shopping centers, hotels, and restaurants. The Portugal-based CPO already boasts more than 3,500 charging points in Portugal, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Poland, and Spain. Under a contract signed this year, Ekoenergetyka has become the key supplier for the Powerdot network.
Ekoenergetyka is intensifying its efforts to supply CPO’s, catering to individual drivers. This move comes as the company broadens its portfolio, transitioning from customized infrastructure for public transit operators in cities like Berlin and Paris to standardized solutions.
In addition to direct sales to CPO’s, Ekoenergetyka is strengthening its pan-European sales network to provide equipment and post-sales service. Recent major distribution agreements for Germany, the UK, and the Nordics underscore the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility.
Ekoenergetyka will provide round-the-clock remote monitoring and repair services for the charging stations from its headquarters in Zielona Góra, western Poland. Leveraging advanced systems, the company can address almost 60% of malfunction reports remotely.
