High-power charging hub for St1 in Mullsjö, Sweden supplied by Ekoenergetyka

As part of St1’s ambition to enable the electrification of both commercial and private road transport, a new high-power EV charging solution has been installed at the St1 site in Mullsjö, Sweden. The charging system, supplied by Ekoenergetyka, expands fast-charging infrastructure for both passenger and heavy-duty electric vehicles.

The newly opened charging station has been designed as a high-performance charging hub capable of serving electric trucks and passenger cars, supporting the growing demand for reliable fast-charging solutions across Sweden. With a total installed power of 800 kW, the site enables multiple vehicles to charge simultaneously.

A flexible high-power charging setup

The project includes 4 x Axon Sat chargers from Ekoenergetyka, configured to support different vehicle types and charging scenarios.

The chargers are equipped with double screens and double CCS connectors, arranged in a dual drive-through layout. This design enables easy access for larger vehicles such as electric trucks, allowing drivers to enter and exit the charging area without complex maneuvering.

In total, the charging hub features:

  • 4 x Axon Sat chargers equipped with CCS connectors and two of them with double screens
  • 800 kW is distributed through 6 connectors with a maximum power of 400 kW for each connector
  • Dual drive-through charging designed for different charging scenarios

The station in Mullsjö reflects a forward-looking approach by St1 to create accessible, future-ready charging infrastructure that serves both commercial transport and everyday EV drivers.
