Ekoenergetyka-Polska together with SPIE Belgium delivered and installed 16 charging points for the Flemish transport company De Lijn in Belgium.
Last year, the municipal transport company concluded a framework agreement with the SPIE-Ekoenergetyka consortium, a new entity created by the merger of Ekoenergetyka and SPIE Belgium, a Belgian subsidiary of the SPIE Group, an independent European leader in multi-technical services in the field of energy and communication.
This contract covers, in particular, the supply, commissioning and maintenance of charging stations for electric and hybrid buses at De Lijn depots.
We are proud to be part of the green transformation realized by De Lijn in Belgium
The first orders were carried out in Leuven-Noord (near Brussels)
– 8x120kW (2x60kW) with wallbox output
In the next stage, they will be implemented in:
– Kortrijk: 12x100kW and 9x160kW
– Sint-Niklaas: 6x100kW and 8x160kW with wallbox output
– Bruges: 7x100kW
“Our numerous collaborations are the best proof of the quality of our solutions and show that the transition to public transport without direct CO2 emissions is already a reality. The charging infrastructure we have developed meets local requirements and is suitable for all electric buses available on the market. The scope and implementation of the De Lijn project requires the most innovative charging solutions“
– emphasized Maciej Wojeński, co-founder of Ekoenergetyka-Polska S.A.
The implementation is co-financed by the European Union.
