One month after the signing of the agreement between Ekoenergetyka and Volvo Trucks, we have the first results of the cooperation.
One of the companies in the AMPLUS Sp. z o. o. group has decided to take the first step towards fleet electrification and has ordered a brand new Volvo FM Electric. Ekoenergetyka-Polska will take care of charging the vehicles.
Michal Luberadzki and Piotr Fengler signed a contract at the Volvo Trucks Center in Mlochow for the delivery of an AXON Easy 120 kW charging station with dual CCS connector and AC outlet, as well as the proprietary EOS OCPP System software, which is a backend solution for monitoring and managing the charging station.
The first electric truck in the “Amplus” fleet will be a Volvo FM, designed to carry a load of up to 44 tons and a range of up to 300km . The agreement was signed on behalf of Volvo Trucks by Ms. Małgorzata Kulis, Managing Director.
“The Amplus Group’s mission is to produce and distribute safe, healthy and best quality fruits and vegetables. To this end, we are pursuing a sustainable development strategy that includes lowering our carbon footprint and a food print strategy. Consequently, we have decided to invest not only in modern low-emission vehicles, but also in electromobility or zero-emission vehicles.”
– emphasized Michał Solarz, President of Amplus Logistic.
