St1 has opened Megawatt Charging solution (MCS)–enabled heavy-duty charging hub at its site in Koppang, Norway. The facility is now available for public use, expanding access to high-power charging for electric trucks in the region.
The new facility features four charging points with a total installed power of 1.6 MW, supporting fast and efficient charging for electric trucks as well as passenger EVs. The site is equipped with Ekoenergetyka’s high-power charging technology:
- 1 SAT1500 charger equipped with an MCS connector and one CCS connector, delivering up to 1.5 MW of power
- Additional CCS Connectors (600 kW) to support e-trucks and passenger EVs
By delivering MCS-enabled infrastructure tailored for megawatt-level performance, Ekoenergetyka supports St1’s development of high-capacity charging facilities designed for the growing needs of electric transport.
The Koppang hub expands public access to heavy-duty charging in the region and demonstrates the practical deployment of next-generation charging technology.
